Academic Vascular and Interventional Radiologist

Dr. Michael Aaron Chorney, M.D., M.B.A., R.P.V.I., an Ivy-League trained Board-Certified IR/DR Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology (DABR®), currently holds an appointment of Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Vascular and Interventional Radiology section at the University of Louisville School of Medicine as program director of the independent IR residency.
Aspiring to higher levels of management and leadership, he independently pursued formal degree education in business administration focusing on healthcare. Additionally, Dr. Chorney is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) demonstrating knowledge and expertise in vascular sonography interpretation, elevating his professional skills above fellow endovascular specialists.
Dr. Chorney serves to provide his patients the highest quality healthcare founded on honoring the Jesuit value of cura personalis, “care for the whole person,” a principle adopted from his undergraduate years at Saint Joseph’s University. He incorporates the needs of patients and their families to provide minimally invasive procedures reducing risk, recovery, and pain.
